Information for new members!

So you have gotten through the application process, spammed like a crazy person,
sucked up to the members and hopefully played a little bit of Team Fortress II when you had some spare time.

You're now a Member! If so, here are the next steps for you to do:

Sign up to ESL, and also add your SteamID to your account, and download "Aequitas".

To join ESL: you must create an account at their site and follow their instructions.
- First of all read these instructions on how to get your SteamID.
  (note you don't have to do it in CS:S, you can do it through tf2, it will be exactly the same)
- Next go to ESL and click on 'My Profile'.
- Now click 'Gameaccounts' which you'll find on the left hand side.
  Go "value" "ADD"
- Choose Type: SteamID TF2 and use your SteamID to add.
  
  (That SteamID should look like this "Steam_0:0:1120195")
  Than click send and that's it.
  
  To get Aequitas:
- Download it from here and install it.
  
  How to use Aequitas:
- First you have to be logged onto the ESL site in your default browser, and you can't have TF2 already running.
- Then when you open it up, the match you're going to play should appear in the dropdown menu,
  otherwise copy&paste the link to the relevant 'Match Details' page from your browser.
  There is info on the 'In-Game JPG Compression' on the info page above, it doesn't particularly matter.
- Hit 'Start Monitoring', it will think about it for a while, and then tell you you're ready to go, so open up TF2 and kick ass!
- After using it, it will create a .rar archive file, which you will need to upload to the ESL site as soon as possible.

Head over to Dysfunction Gaming, our sponsor's site, and make yourself an account. If you later become a full member you will be given permission to view the members-only areas which include the AvA forums, but for now you can start getting to know the people in the general forums where we also post.
This doesn't mean you should go quiet in our forums however! (We're picky that way wink3.gif)
More gaming, more gaming and more gaming!
By now you have probably played with everybody in the clan and gotten to know us, so we'll be expecting you to put in some more specific practice.
This includes getting familiar with all maps that are played in our leagues (ask if you don't know) and playing some small-team games on our clan server regularly.

Keep up all the rest of the things you were doing as an applicant and that's it for member status; stay active, practice loads!
